Ricardo’s Time is pleased to announce the achievements obtained in 2023:
Educational Programs:
- John Galt School: Ricardo’s Time coordinated two John Galt Latin America program editions created by Ayn Rand Center Europe. Participants from various countries participated in this program.
- The Objectivist Lykeion: We launched a new educational program – The Objectivist Lykeion, based on Ayn Rand’s most important fiction work. We selected 20 students from the total applicants.
Educational Seminars:
- Ricardo Ibáñez attended a meeting on Objectivism in London. There were ten participants.
- Ayn Rand Center Israel: In April, Ricardo Ibáñez delivered an in-person presentation on rationality from an Objectivist perspective to 15 Israelis in Tel Aviv.
- Martin Hooss taught four seminars (eleven in-person sessions) in Lima, Peru, on Ayn Rand and the Objectivist virtues.
- Ricardo’s Time organized a movie night where attendees watched “Ayn Rand: A Sense of Life.”
- Ricardo Ibáñez and Martin Hooss toured Brazil to promote Ayn Rand’s philosophy. Ricardo Ibáñez primarily spoke about rationality from an Objectivist perspective. We completed six educational seminars and related events, collaborating with IFL (Instituto de Formacao de Líderes), among other organizations, which made the events possible.
Conferences:
- Ricardo Ibáñez participated in five conferences on Objectivism and Freedom in the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Greece. These included Level Up, LibertyCON, and The Liberty Road Show London.
- The Peruvian Objectivist Student Conference (POSCON) and five other conferences were organized, totaling six. The events took place in Peruvian universities. Part of the planning included creating a website: https://poscon.ricardostime.com/. Ricardo’s Time organized the conferences in August at the six Peruvian universities. Ricardo Ibáñez, Martin Hooss, and Eduardo Marty lectured on Ayn Rand’s philosophy. The audience reached 550 students in six days, meeting our goal.
